Potential Start Date: Spring 2021
If you are interested in working as a postdoctoral researcher in Oswald laboratory, please contact us. Our research focuses on olfactory representations in orbitofrontal and piriform cortices. We study the circuit and synaptic mechanisms underlying assembly formation during olfactory task learning and performance. We use complementary in vivo and in vitro recording techniques in conjunction with genetic labeling and circuit manipulation. Experience in any one of these areas is a requirement. Most members of our group work in collaboration with theoretical neuroscientists and are encouraged to learn computational techniques. The laboratory at the University of Pittsburgh will be closing and we will be re-opening at the University of Chicago in January 2021. If you would like more information please contact Anne-Marie Oswald at amoswald@uchicago.edu
